scroll-23683__180Certainly David regretted the worst morning of his life. That dawn he sent Uriah back to battle, carrying his own death sentence to Joab, the General of David’s army.

Regret weighs heavy on our souls. God, however, never intended for it to stain the walls of our hearts and minds. That is sin’s gift….yes, the original gift that keeps on giving.

Here’s a hint, if we start our day with the heaviness of remorse we know we only collect more weight along the way. So in the morning, every morning, seek the face of God.

Allow His SonLight to erase the lines of regret. It’s His specialty. All we need do is lift our face to Him, “in the morning”.
