judaism-1015469__180There are days you wish you could start over. There are days you plead with God to allow you a “do over”. That answer is always no. Believe me, I’ve tried.

That fateful morning David slipped an envelope into the hand of Uriah the Hittite, bound for his commanding officer Joab had to be THE day David wished he could relive.

What he would give to have another crack at that morning. But it just doesn’t work that way. So David had to find another way to deal with his sin…. confession.

In confessing David found the greatest gift of all. For though we don’t get a “mulligan” for our bad mornings and “no good, very bad days”, we can receive an even greater gift.

Forgiveness.
